Maui’s Letarte Makes 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover

Maui swimsuit company Letarte is featured on the cover of the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition that hits newsstands today.

The white mesh side-tie bikini bottoms from Maui were paired up with a Canada Goose Chilliwack Bomber Jacket, and worn by Kate Upton in chilly Antarctica.

This is the second time that a Letarte swimsuit has been featured on the cover of a Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.

The Maui-based Letarte label is created by sisters Lisa Cabrinha (designer) and Michele Letarte Ross (president).

According to the company website, the label debuted in 2000 with elite designs of swimwear, coordinating cover-ups and sportswear.  The label is now found around the world in over 400 distinguished retail shops and exclusive resorts.
