In anticipation of the summer opening of the Andaz Maui at Wailea resort, hotel executives are hosting a hospitality job fair as they search for qualified employees.
The job fair runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5, at the Kīhei Elementary School on E. Lipoa Street.
“We are seeking individuals that embrace the culture and spirit of Hawaii as they will help form the foundation of the extraordinary experience Andaz Maui at Wailea will offer,” said General Manager Michael Stephens in a press release today.
“Unparalleled service and warm, authentic hospitality is our goal. We look forward to meeting candidates and expanding our team as we prepare to welcome guests to the resort,” said Stephens.
The Andaz Maui at Wailea is located on Mokapu Beach on the site that once housed the Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort.
According to company literature, the new 15-acre Andaz Maui at Wailea will offer 297 guestrooms and suites, a 15,000-square-foot spa, and two full service restaurants. Morimoto Maui, run by acclaimed chef Masaharu Morimoto, known for his role in Iron Chef and Iron Chef America, will open a restaurant at the hotel that will offer both lunch and dinner options.
The hotel is seeking applicants for positions in all departments including food and beverage, resort operations, spa, retail and more.
