State Brings Energy Efficiency Financing Workshop to Maui

On Wednesday, June 21, the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT) will hold a free informative workshop discussing financing alternatives for energy efficiency projects.

The State Energy Office released a statement encouraging building owners, property management companies, businesses, tenant and neighborhood associations, and non-profit organizations to attend the free workshop.

Topics will cover areas such as low interest financing, rebates, energy savings performance contracting, and off-balance sheet financing.

The workshop will held at the Maui Beach Hotel’s Maui Room at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21. Interested parties are encouraged to register by June 14 online at http://www.energy.hawaii.gov/programs/achieving-efficiency.
