Serino’s Kihei Grand Opening Benefits United Way
By Vanessa Wolf
This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Serino’s Kihei will be hosting their official grand opening.
During the three days, 40% of all net food purchase proceeds will benefit Maui United Way and its 40 partner agency programs. In addition, customers will have the ability to designate which agency they would like to see benefit from their participation.
Some of the agencies supported by the Maui United Way include Aloha House, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Feed My Sheep, Hospice Maui, Ke Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Resource Centers, Maui AIDS Foundation, Mental Health Kokua, Special Olympics Hawaii and Women Helping Women.
Maui United Way is an independent 501(c) 3 tax-exempt non-profit charitable organization that has operated for over 64 years in Maui. As part of their stated goals and in order to help build a stronger community, Maui United Way raises and invests corporate and individual donations in 34 health and human services partner agencies and 36 programs.
Serino’s is billed as “Kihei’s newest hot spot with upbeat, multi-concept dining which boasts an innovative menu including gourmet pizzas and burgers, signature sandwiches and an eclectic bar menu.”
The restaurant will be open for dining and resultant United Way donations from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. this Friday through Sunday.
