The area of the fire was revised from the first reported 65 acres to 87 total acres after crews plotted GPS coordinates taken from the department’s Air-1 helicopter, officials said.

Fire officials say the stubborn blaze was fireworks-related and likely intentionally set.

County officials plan to release further details regarding the extent of the fire during a press conference tomorrow.
