Maui police are searching for a suspect wanted for alleged offenses including violation of an order for protection, first-degree burglary, and kidnapping, police confirmed.

Police say the allegations stem from an incident reported at 7:42 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, at a Kahului home, where the victim reported that the suspect, 37-year-old Jesse Beamer, came to the home in violation of a Temporary Restraining Order.

According to preliminary police reports, Beamer had taken a child from the residence and fled, but later returned the child back to the victim.

Lt. William Juan said Beamer once again had fled the area within his vehicle, and his whereabouts were unknown at last report.

“Further investigation of this incident is pending the apprehension of Beamer for these offenses,” said Lt. Juan.
