Haleakalā National Park on Maui is waiving entrance fees for all park visitors for the President’s Day holiday.

In addition, active duty military can obtain a free one-year America the Beautiful Military Pass at any national park, on any day of the year. Other types of annual park passes are also available at national park entrance stations.

Park representatives say national parks are “tactile reminders of the values, ideals, and freedoms that presidents have sworn to protect.  Dozens of national park units, including birthplaces, homes, and monuments, commemorate the service of these American leaders.”
