Grand Wailea Restaurants Offer “Wine & Dine” Special
By Maui Now Staff
Beginning this month, two of the Grand Wailea’s restaurants – Humuhumunukunukuapua’a and Bistro Molokini – are offering special “Wine & Dine” menus.
These three-course meals come paired with wines, rendering such pesky and complex decisions obsolete.
However, there are still choices to be made.
The Bistro Molokini menu offers a selection of Maui onion soup or Kula Nui baby romaine salad, which is paired with Hess chardonnay from Shirtail Creek Vineyard in California.
For an entree, choose between Mālama Farms Heritage Organic Kurobuta Pork, Hana Bay Fish ‘n Chips or “The Pasta Bowl.”
Your selection is paired with Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, California.
Lastly, enjoy either Pineapple Upside-Down Cake or a trio of Lappert’s ice cream and sorbet.
The special pairing dinner is offered at $70 per person or $39 without wine.

Meanwhile, Humu’s menu also begins with a selection.
Choose between Seared Day Boat Scallops and Kula Lau’ai, which is paired with Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand.
For your entree, enjoy Macadamia Nut-Crusted Mahi Mahi, Petite Grilled Lobster and Filet Mignon, or Korean Style Fried Chicken. Whichever your pleasure, it will be accompanied by King State Pinot Noir from Domaine, Oregon.
Worn out from all this eeny-meeny-miney-mo? You might be happy to learn there is but one dessert: Humu Hula Mud Pie.
The Humu Wine & Dinner dinner is offered at $98 per person or $72 without the wine pairings.
Please note pricing is subject to Hawaii state tax and an automatic 18% service charge and is not combinable with other discounts, coupons or promotions.
On the upside, the resort is offering complementary valet parking.
