Taco Bell To Begin Serving Breakfast on Maui
By Maui Now Staff
Deny it all you want, but we know every last one of you has occasionally run for the border.
Indeed, it’s not gourmet food, but it’s not priced like it either.
That stated, the budget-conscious amongst us might be excited to learn that starting next Wednesday, March 26, Taco Bell’s Kahului and Lahaina locations (sorry, Kihei – your name’s not on the list) will begin offering breakfast.
The “highly anticipated and revolutionary” (according to them) breakfast items, include the all-in-one A.M. Crunchwrap – scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns, melted cheese and bacon, sausage or steak all wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla – Bacon and Egg Burrito, Sausage Flatbread Melt, the Waffle Taco, and the (already available) Cinnabon Delights.
What? Nothing made out of Doritos?
Surely they could work them into an omelet or something?
“We couldn’t be more excited for the addition of the delicious breakfast menu to our local Taco Bell locations,” said Henry Katsuda, president and CEO of TD Food Group, which operates Taco Bell in Hawaii. “Hawaii is going to love Taco Bell’s take on breakfast – these new items are sure to spice up the on-the-go breakfast options here in the islands.”
Taco Bell’s full breakfast menu will be offered at 20 select drive-through restaurants – Kahului and Lahaina, specifically here on Maui – statewide, from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.
