Three individuals suffered non-life threatening injuries when a large pine tree fell along Mill Street in the East Maui town of Hāna over the weekend, police said.

The incident was reported at around 11:02 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014, according to police reports.

Police say an adult male and adult female victim were transported to the Maui Memorial Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, while another woman was treated and released at the scene.

The incident was classified as a miscellaneous accident.
