Upper Kimo Waterline Shutdown

Water customers on Upper Kimo Drive in Kula on Maui will have no water on Tuesday, May 20, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., while personnel from the Department of Water Supply install a new waterline for fire protection purposes.

The affected area extends along Upper Kimo Drive from the Haleakalā Highway intersection to Alanuilili Place.

Motorists on Upper Kimo Drive are advised to drive cautiously and follow posted signage.

Affected customers are advised to store water for the day if needed and flush their waterlines for a short time following work to ensure that no sediment has accumulated in their waterlines during the project.
