Hawaiian Airlines announced plans to expand non-stop service between Maui and Los Angeles during the summer of 2015.

A second daily flight leaving Kahului at 9:40 p.m. and arriving in Los Angeles at 5:50 a.m. will begin June 11. A second westbound flight each day, departing LA at 1:30 p.m. and arriving in Kahului at 4 p.m., will begin June 12.

These additional flights will end on Sept. 8, 2014.

More than 53,000 air seats will be added in each direction over 14 weeks on Hawaiian Airlines’ wide-body, twin-aisle Airbus 330-200.

In response to robust demand for travel to Hawaiʻi next summer, Hawaiian Airlines is also bringing back its seasonal non-stop service from Oakland and Los Angeles to Līhuʻe on Kauaʻi and Kona on Hawaiʻi Island, beginning May 20, 2015.

With these additions, both Līhuʻe and Kona will have a Hawaiian Airlines wide-body aircraft arriving every day of the week next summer.

Tickets for the new seasonal non-stop flights are now available for purchase online at the Hawaiian Airlines website or by calling Hawaiian Airlines toll free at (800) 367-5320.
