A High Surf Warning was cancelled and replaced by an Advisory posted until 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 16, for 12-16 foot faces.
A Small Craft Advisory has been extended for Maui County windward waters, the Kaiwi Channel and the ʻAlenuihāhā channel through noon on Monday for rough seas of 10 to 15 feet. Inexperienced mariners should avoid navigating in these conditions.

On Washington’s birthday, we expect partly cloudy skies with just a slight chance of showers in the afternoon, otherwise mostly clear. Variable winds are expected up to 15 mph. High temperatures are forecasted to fall in the range of 81° to 86°.

Looking Ahead
Winds are forecasted to turn easterly tonight and weaken further. Light east to southeast winds will remain in place for the first half of the week. Conditions will be relatively dry and stable, with little rainfall expected. Another cold front will approach the state late in the week.
