Variable winds are expected up to 15 mph tonight. Partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers in the evening expected to clear as the land breeze takes hold. Low temperatures from 67° to 73° are expected.
A weak trade wind pattern is expected to set up, but will still be light enough for localized land and sea breezes through the rest of the week. Winds are forecasted to be even lighter over the eastern half of the state, especially for the Big Island. Increasing moisture will lead to an increasingly cloudy and showery weather pattern, especially during the afternoons and early evenings.
