Small NW and SSW Build Today

North: Surf expected up to knee/chest high (Hana side). Otherwise, knee/waist high.
West: Small surf today, below waist high or flat at most spots in the morning. New south-southwest up to waist high or more on the sets by sunset.
South: Small surf today, below waist high or flat at most spots in the morning. New south-southwest up to waist high or more on the sets by sunset.
Our current small southwest, south-southeast mix continues to fade. A new south-southwest swell is expected to build slowly on Friday and peak over the weekend with occasional shoulder high sets.
A new small northwest is expected to build Friday but not expected to get bigger than waist high. No significant swells on the horizon.
Small easterly swell from former Blanca is expected to. Swell is expected to hold through Friday and into the weekend up to about waist high.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
