Looking Ahead

Trade winds will weaken further through the weekend as the remains of former tropical cyclone Enrique passes north of us. This will also bring another increase in moisture and humidity. The lighter winds and abundant moisture will result in some afternoon showers especially over interior and leeward areas. During the nights, trades will remain strong enough to keep a few showers across windward areas. Stronger trades and a more typical weather pattern are expected to return by mid week.
