Longhi’s Offers 50% New Menu Offerings to Kamaʻāina in August
By Maui Now Staff
Longhi’s in Lahaina has unveiled a special menu in its newly-named downstairs dining room, Longhi’s Front Street Kitchen. And this month, locals can try it for half-off.
“We’re calling it ‘Contemporary Hawaiian cuisine with an Asian flair,'” general manager Teri Dodson tells Maui Now. “To draw attention to the new offerings, we are giving 50% off to Maui kamaʻāina through August.”
The menu features small cold and hot plates like roasted Indonesian-spiced chicken wings, fresh fish mango ceviche, King crab legs with pohole fern tempura and hoisin BBQ-glazed baby back ribs on kimchi slaw.
There’s also a range of salads, vegetables and hot items, including sweet-and-sour tamarind BBQ-glazed lamb chops, grilled Thai-spiced whole baby chicken and wok-fried seafood spaghetti.
The 50% off promotion will apply to food only, available in the downstairs of Longhi’s Lahaina location at 888 Front Street. A service charge will be added to the pre-discounted price. Those menu prices range from $6 to $28, and the Front Street Kitchen will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. The downstairs dining room is also the place to find happy hour specials, which run from 3 to 5 p.m. Longhi’s upstairs dining room will welcome guests between 6 and 10 p.m.
Longhi’s, a longtime Lahaina landmark, first opened in 1976 and helped to pioneer the local farm-to-table movement.
