Kōkua for Kupuna Fundraiser for Hale Makua, Sept. 26

Hale Makua Health Services hosts its annual Kōkua for Kupuna fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, featuring entertainment by Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winning group Nā Leo Pilimehana.

In addition to entertainment, the event includes a silent auction and Hawaiian cuisine.

The event starts at 5 p.m. at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, Ocean Lawn.  Cost is $140 per person with proceeds going toward financial assistance for individuals who are unable to afford care at Hale Makua.

During the event, Hale Makua will publicly honor the Hyundai Tournament of Champions for their support.  Since its move to Maui in 1999, the tournament has donated more than $5.3 million to Maui community charities.  Hale Makua Health Services has been a beneficiary of the tournament since 2002.
