Looking Ahead
Breezy east-northeast trade winds are in place through the weekend. Showers will continue to focus across windward and mauka areas, but the strong winds will allow the showers to make it into leeward areas from time to time. The trades are forecast to weaken next week as a cold front approaches from the west and stalls out west of Kauai. Increased showers are expected during the middle to latter part of next week, increasing rain chances and humidity levels across the island chain.
Today
Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected for windward and mauka areas with frequent morning showers and scattered afternoon showers. Partly cloudy skies for lee spots with scattered showers. High temperatures from 82° to 87°. Northeast winds are forecast from 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

Tonight
Northeast winds are expected from 15 to 30 mph with higher gusts. Low temperatures from 70° to 75°. Mostly cloudy skies are expected with frequent showers for windward and mauka spots. Leeward spots should get scattered showers and partly cloudy skies.
