“To sustain, to renew and to inspire.”
That’s the vision of Honua Kai Resort & Spa, a place I was fortunate to experience during an overnight stay with my family. We had the opportunity to tour several luxurious rooms, play in the fun pools and enjoy activities and amenities. Here’s more on what the Honua Kai community is all about:
Honua Kai stretches along 38 acres in Kāʻanapali. It features two towers with 628 condos, offering a mix of studios, one, two and three bedrooms. The full-ownership community does have some units for sale, while others are available for nightly rental.
And speaking of vision, many suites include a view of the ocean, since Honua Kai sits along a span of North Kāʻanapali Beach.
Guests and owners can also enjoy the pools, hot tub, waterslide, 24-hour fitness center and world-class spa, which includes Maui’s only Himalayan salt room, to relax and invigorate after massages.
Among the luxury amenities, all units come with full gourmet kitchens and spacious lanais, along with washers and dryers. Some suites feature outdoor BBQ kitchens as well.
Hungry? Duke’s Beach House is on-site; you can enjoy an ocean-view table in the dining room, or order food and drinks while lounging around the pool. Or, if you’re in the market to splurge, there are private chefs available who will customize a meal for you in your room. Honua Kai belongs to the family of Intrawest Hospitality Management, which has a network of resorts at popular mountain destinations like Mont Tremblant Ski Resort, Steamboat Ski & Resort, Winter Park Resort, Snowshoe Mountain and Stratton Mountain.
