Hyatt Regency Maui Unveils Enhanced Fitness Program

Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa recently unveiled an enhanced fitness program, “Passion of Movement” directed by the Maui-based health and fitness guru Morgan Torres.

The program features classes such as H20 Boot Camp, Barre, pilates, yoga, and other conditioning and aquatic aerobics.

Guests can take advantage of the on-property fitness program during their stay with classes held at the Residence Club Lawn, Moana Athletic Club, and in the resort’s oceanfront pool.


Group classes and use of the Hyatt Regency Maui Fitness Center, as well as the newly debuted oceanfront Residence Club Lawn, are complimentary for Hyatt Regency Maui guests through the Hyatt StayFit program.

The resort’s “Passion of Movement” program has courses suitable for all guests and includes a variety of yoga, cardio, and water aerobics. Five classes are offered daily and the schedule changes regularly for variety. The “Passion of Movement” program includes classes such as:

· H20 Boot Camp – a high intensity aquatic class held at the resort’s oceanfront pool that uses the natural resistance of the water to help increase strength, power, endurance and range of motion.


· Vinyasa Yoga – a powerful workout for the mind, body and spirit that combines breathing and movement to cleanse and recharge the body.

· Total Body Tone – a total body conditioning class that utilizes a wide range of exercises to improve strength and endurance, burn calories, and enhance aerobic fitness.

· W.E.T. (Water, Endurance, Tone) – a high energy, powerful and fun class designed to burn calories and build muscles while focusing on coordination, muscle control and flexibility.


· Barre – a high energy fusion between ballet, pilates, and yoga taught with fun music designed to make you break a sweat.

The “Passion of Movement” program occurs daily in the morning and classes offer modifications for guests of all fitness levels.  The Moana Athletic Club is open 24 hours a day.
