Mākena Beach & Golf Resort’s first Winery of the Month dinner of 2016 features the best wines from Kobrand Fine Wines and Spirits’ wine portfolio.  Kobrand has been family-owned since 1944.

On Saturday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m., Mākena’s Molokini Bar & Grille restaurant hosts a Taste of Kobrand, with wines from the world’s best wine-making regions paired alongside a seven-course dinner.  The menu was designed by Executive Chef Kurt Lesmerises, and event will include wine commentary by Hawaiʻi’s own Master Sommelier Patrick Okubo.

Introduced in January 2013, the series has featured such wine brands as Cakebread Cellars, Duckhorn, Craggy Range, Banfi Vitners, Miner Valley, Cade, Rombauer, Paradigm, Silver Oak, Joel Gott, Alexander Valley Vineyards and Vine Cliff Winery.
