The Hawaiʻi All-Stars competitive cheerleading team from Kahului, Maui is hosting a fundraiser in the hopes of defraying costs for their upcoming competition at the ESPN arena in Orlando, Florida in May.

The event is an opportunity for the 18 squad members from Maui to compete on the national stage in an event that is considered by some the “Superbowl” of cheer.

The Summit All Star Cheerleading Championship takes place April 29 to May 1, 2016, features a live commentary of routines, social media interaction and special features on ESPN3.

The team will host a fundraiser on Feb, 18, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the new Any Kine Diner at the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center in Kahului. Supporters are asked to print the attached event flyer and present it to the cashier when paying their tab so that 20% of their bill will benefit the J3 “Krush” squad.
