Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are head high to overhead today with the best spots topping out around double overhead from time to time.
West: Wrap from the west-northwest swell affecting some western shores today. Spots with the exposure could get head high to up to overhead waves.
South: Wave heights are knee high today or flat.
Our west-northwest swell has now shifted out of the northwest and the High Surf Advisory has shifted from the north and west sides to the east side as a result. Trade swell will also mix in over the next few days.
A small swell out of the west-northwest is possible next weekend.
Not much expected from the SPAC. Just background southern hemi surf expected.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
