The MACC to Present ‘Don’t Crack Under Pressure’

Belle Surf Café will present Don’t Crack Under Pressure on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Nuit de la Glisse, the oldest European action sport movie production team, has been making action sports movies since the 1970s.

The team’s movies are a mix of a variety of thrilling action sports—from surfing to mountain biking, wing-suiting, free-diving, skiing, snowboarding, kitesurfing and more.

Maui-born Jesse Richman, two-time kitesurfing world champion and “king of the air,” is included in the cast of international extreme athletes featured in the film, where he showcases his talent in the beautiful backdrop of the Tuamotu Islands in the South Pacific.

After flying to France for the premiere in Paris and Chamonix, Richman will come to Maui. Multiple free-diving world champion Davide Carrera is also flying from Italy to present the new film.

A mini-movie featuring Maui groms in action will screen before the main event.
