Maui Brewers Festival Tickets on Sale March 17
Tickets for the Maui Brewers Festival, one of Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s signature fundraisers, will go on sale March 17.
The 8th Annual Maui Brewers Festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2016, in The MACC’s A&B Amphitheater.
The Maui Brewers Festival has become a “Maui favorite,” showcasing dozens of craft beers from breweries in Hawai‘i and on the Mainland, as well as food from many of Maui’s chefs.
There will be 40 breweries participating in the festival—including 10 from Hawai‘i—all carefully selected because of their commitment to making craft beer with an emphasis on quality, flavor and locally sourced ingredients.
This year, local favorite Erin Smith will serve as the headlining entertainer. Nominated “Best Rock Band” at the 2015 Honolulu Pulse Awards, Smith is the first local artist to have a song added to regular rotation on O‘ahu’s mainstream music station, Star 101.9.
Attendees will enjoy unlimited pūpū-style offerings from 26 local restaurants and caterers, featuring both savory and sweet treats. All food is included in the ticket price.
VIP tickets include early entry at 2 p.m. for “Happy Hour” until 3:30 p.m. a total of ten four-ounce pours of beer, all-day access to the Rare Beer Tasting area in Yokouchi Pavilion, and an amenity package including the official 2016 Maui Brewer’s Festival T-shirt and a souvenir cup-holder lanyard.
The official Maui Brewers Festival T-shirts, created by Crazy Shirts, will be available for purchase, featuring an updated full-color logo on high-quality pima cotton shirts; the ever-popular MBF hats have been redesigned as well.
General admission tickets include entry at 3:30 p.m. (30 minutes earlier this year) and eight four-ounce pours of beer.
All tickets include a commemorative glass for beer sampling, complimentary food and parking.
Guests can enter to win prizes donated by the participating breweries, restaurants and The MACC.
General admission tickets are $65 in advance and $75 on the day of the event. VIP tickets are $120.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 17, at 10 a.m. Call The MACC Box Office at 242-SHOW (7469) or visit MauiArts.org.
Maui Brewers Festival is open to adults 21 years and over with a current valid photo ID.
Proceeds from this annual fundraiser benefit The MACC’s many educational programs for students, teachers and seniors, as well as the many free events offered to the Maui County community.
