A weakening front is forecast to linger northwest of the islands through Wednesday, then slowly approach the islands and dissipate by the weekend. This weather feature is expected to keep winds light through the rest of the week.
Today we expect partly sunny skies in the morning with clouds building in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy conditions are expected with showers likely over interior and upslope areas later in the day. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall is possible. Hazy skies are also likely today. Humidity will be high. Variable winds are forecast from 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures from 81° to 86°.
