ILWU & Kaiser Reach Tentative Contract Agreement

Kaiser Permanente Hawai‘i and the International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 142 have reached a new three-year collective bargaining agreement.

The ratification vote by employees is expected to start on Monday, April 18, and conclude on April 21.

The contract, which will affect approximately 95 diagnostic imaging employees at facilities throughout the state effective January 1, 2017, provides for wage and market adjustments, enhanced professional development leave and benefit changes, including a move to a new medical plan and new retiree medical benefits.
