Free iPhone and Android Workshops at Verizon Kahului

With technology constantly expanding and changing, it can be hard to keep up; however, Verizon will be offering free, in-store workshops throughout the month of August at the Maui Marketplace in Kahului/

Company representatives say the workshops are a great way to learn how to navigate iPhones and Androids without feeling frustrated or hopeless.

Verizon’s experts are more than willing to teach parents, grandparents and great-grandparents who want to learn more about today’s latest technology, company representatives said.

Topics to be covered in the workshops include:

Android: Getting Started – Aug. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

Advanced userss and beginners can attend this workshop to learn about all the features of Android devices.

Apple iPhone: Getting Started – Aug. 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

Attend this workshop to learn about all the features of the iPhone. During this workshop Verizon Experts will show you how to use features like Maps, Siri (not available on all models), FaceTime, the app store and more.

Apple iPhone: Doing More – Aug. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.

Attend this workshop for answers regarding troubleshooting. Verizon Experts will show you more advanced features of your device such as iCloud, “Find My iPhone”, and Airdrop.
