Four Maui baseball teams will be present for an autograph signing and photo opportunity next Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Macy’s Men’s store located in the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center in Kahului.

The autograph and photo opportunity event will take place at 10:30 a.m.

Maui had a historic season this summer with four teams competing in World Series Championship events.

The Central Maui Little League All-Stars brought home the World Championship title in the Intermediate (50/70) Division after defeating Seoul, South Korea on Aug. 7, 2016.

The Maui Pony League team ended their World Series journey as runner-up, second only to Chinese Taipei during the championship game on Aug. 10, 2016.

The Central East Maui Majors from Wailuku were also featured in the Little League West Regional tournament that was held in San Bernardino, CA from August 7-13, 2016.

Vice President and Store Manager for Macy’s Kaʻahumanu and Hyatt, Debbie Chuckas said the event will coincide with a Community Shopping Day and will include a DJ.

She said the store wanted to recognize boys for putting Maui on the map.

According to Chuckas, all four teams have committed.  The BIGS and the Pony team may have some players who cannot attend due to football and those BIGs who left for college already will not be in attendance.
