Q: I live in Lahaina and every time I call to check on a possible road closure, the recording doesn’t include the date and time. Would it be possible to have police include that information so we know how recently the announcement has been updated?

A: The road closure notifications are updated only when an accident or incident occurs and are not re-recorded daily. If there are no closures to report, the message will be recorded as “all roads are open” and not dated.
