Comedian Nick Swardson at Castle Theater, May 18
Comedian Nick Swardson will perform live on Thursday, May 18, at Castle Theater at 7:30 p.m.
An experienced comedian, actor, writer and producer, Swardson is known for his work on both the small and silver screen.
Swardson jump-started his career in 2003, co-writing Warner Brothers’ hit movie, “Malibu’s Most Wanted,” and joining Comedy Central’s “Reno 911!”
After catching the attention of Happy Madison Productions, he quickly became a fixture in the company’s films, collaborating on such projects as “Grandma’s Boy,” “Benchwarmers,” and “Now I Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” with Adam Sandler and Kevin James.
Recently, Swardson has performed in movies such as “That’s My Boy,” “Blades of Glory,” “30 Minutes or Less,” and “Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star,” which he wrote, starred in and produced.
His first comedy album, “Party,” went platnium and he followed up in 2010 with his first one-hour stand-up special on Comedy Central, “Seriously Who Farted?” His Comedy Central sketch show, “Pretend Time with Nick Swardson,” ran from 2010 to 2012, and he voiced the role of Troy on FXX’s animated show “Chozen.”
His latest one-hour special, “Nick Swardson: Taste It,” debuted on Comedy Central in May 2015.
Tickets are $25, $35, $45. Ticket prices will increase $5 on the day of the show.
