Baybayan, who has worked at the resort for 33 years, is a popular concierge in the Regency Club and known as the “Ambassador of Aloha.”

In January of this year she was awarded the Nā Poʻe Pa‘ahana (the hard-working people) Outstanding Lodging Employee Award, which recognizes the top hospitality employee in the state.

“Lisalani is an exceptional member of our team and amazing representative of both Hyatt Regency Maui and Hawaiʻi at the national North Star Award,” said Fred Findlen, General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. “We are honored that one of our associates is being recognized at the highest level for her Hawaiian aloha and the profound impact that she has on those she’s served.”
