Maui Surf Forecast

North: Surf heights are expected to be waist high at the best breaks open to the swell. We could get up to chest high on the sets.

West: Surf heights are expected to be waist high today, some spots will be tummy/chest high on the sets.

South: Surf heights are expected to be waist high today, some spots will be tummy/chest high on the sets.

Trade wind swell is forecast to drop a bit Sunday as the trades weaken a bit. It should pick back up as the winds pick back up Tuesday and for much of the upcoming work week.

South-southwest swell peaked yesterday below advisory levels and will slowly ease Sunday through next week. A small south-southwest swell is forecast to also fill in. Nothing significant expected out of the South Pacific.

Nothing significant expected out of the North Pacific with just a small north-northwest swell hanging around through the weekend.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
