Honoapi‘ilani Hwy RE-OPENED in Kā‘anapali

Update:

Honoapiʻilani Hwy (31) between Kāʻanapali Parkway and Kekaʻa Drive has REOPENED as of 6:18 a.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017 following a multi-vehicle accident in West Maui.

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution while driving in area.

Motorists can expect delays as traffic resumes its normal flow.

The Honoapiʻilani Highway (31) is closed to traffic in both directions near the Fairway Shops in Kāʻanapali between Kāʻanapali Parkway and Kekaʻa Drive due to a motor vehicle accident.

Emergency crews are on scene. Maui police say there is no estimated time on when the road will reopen. Initial reports indicate that the accident involves an overturned vehicle.
