Looking Ahead
Trade winds will hold through the day Thursday, then slowly weaken and shift out of the south for the holiday weekend and into early next week. This means muggy conditions are forecast to return to the state. Clouds and showers will favor windward areas through Thursday, then become focused over leeward and interior spots Friday through early next week, especially through the afternoon and early evening periods. Warm and muggy conditions will likely continue through much of next week.
Today
We expect northeast winds around 10 to 20 mph. Partly sunny skies with scattered showers in windward locales. Isolated morning showers for leeward areas. Temperature up to 87° to 92°.
UV index at 12 (“extreme” exposure level)
Tonight
Partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers in windward spots and isolated showers for leeward areas. Low temperatures from 71° to 76°. Winds are expected to be northeast around 5 to 15 mph.
