Looking Ahead

A slow increase in trade winds is forecasted over the next couple days. A band of moisture associated with a weak disturbance is expected to move across the state into Wednesday, increasing showers for windward and mauka areas mainly. Winds will then weaken and shift southeasterly this weekend making daily afternoon sea breezes and overnight land breezes the weather pattern during that time. Some volcanic haze is possible during that time as well.
