Lopezʻs most recent comedic endeavor is his HBO comedy special, The Wall, which debuted in August 2017. His past HBO specials include America’s Mexican in 2007, the Grammy-nominated Best Comedy Album Tall, Dark and Chicano in 2009, and It’s Not Me, It’s You in 2012.

In addition, Lopez has his own comedy series on TV Land called Lopez. The series explores how he struggles between his two worlds, with crises that he often creates for himself. Lopez also hosted Lopez Tonight, a late-night television talk show on TBS. The talk show represented Lopez’s return to series television after co-creating, writing, producing, and starring in the hit sitcom George Lopez, which ran for six seasons on ABC.
