Maui Humane Society CEO Jerleen Bryant will be leaving the organization after five years at the helm.

She has accepted the position of Executive Director at the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation, a Nevada-based philanthropic organization dedicated to animal rights.

Bryant will remain at the Humane society for the next couple of months to assist with the transition in leadership.

In the meantime, a search committee has been formed to find a new CEO for the Maui Humane Society.
