For the 16th consecutive day, temperatures have either tied or broken records at various locations across the state.

Here on Maui, there were a dozen record setting or tying days so far this month, according to data compiled by the National Weather Service. This included 95 degree temperatures in Kahului on June 6, 7, and 27.  There was also a 95 degree day on May 28, 2019.

There were only five days so far this month (through June 27) when temperatures did not tie or break old records in Hawaiʻi.
