Bite Squad Expands to Kīhei, Adds Breakfast Delivery in Kahului

Bite Squad is expanding its services on Maui this week with the debut of full service in Kīhei and the addition of breakfast delivery in Kahului.

Company representatives say the on-demand food delivery app’s “rapid success” in Kahului since its May launch prompted the decisions for expansion. Bite Squad already has more than 75 restaurant partners in the area.

Bite Squad will kick off its Kīhei debut with a special “Free Delivery for the Summer” promotion.  Anyone who orders during its Grand Opening Week (July 26 to Aug. 4) will receive a complimentary subscription to Bite Squad Unlimited for the rest of the summer. The unlimited membership waives the delivery fee no matter how many times orders are made through Sept. 23, 2019. Regular delivery fees start at $2.99.

Breakfast delivery starts immediately in Kahului, beginning at 8 a.m. every day. Customers in Kīhei will also be able to order breakfast items without leaving their home or office. Both cities are among the first Bite Squad areas in the country to offer this option.

“The addition of breakfast delivery service creates a new level of convenience for our customers, as well as an additional revenue stream for our restaurant partners,” said Craig Key, Chief Marketing Officer for Bite Squad. “And we’re really excited for new customers in Kihei to try us during the Grand Opening. In return, they’ll get as many orders as they’d like with no delivery fees for the rest of the summer.”

More than 20 Kahului-area restaurant partners have joined forces with Bite Squad for breakfast service, including: Jersey Mike’s, Jamba Juice, Jack in the Box, Cupies Maui, Wei Wei Cafe & Noodle House, CAA Market Place, Tiki Tiki Thai Cuisine, Fernando’s, Blazin’ Steaks, Originz Maui, Pāʻia Gelato, Hāna Picnic Lunch Company, Cafe Made in Hope, Amigo’s, Island Fresh Café, Poke Hale Grindz, Tobi’s Shave Ice North Shore, Pāʻia Bowls and Las Pinatas of Maui.

Restaurants in Kīhei that will be available for delivery on the Bite Squad app include A & E Oriental Foodmart, Amigo’s, Ba-Le Vietnamese Food, Beach Street Maui, Blue Moon Café, Cinnamon Roll Place, Da Nani Pirates, Kraken Coffee Maui, Lava Rock Bar & Grill, Peggy Sue’s, Philmart Oriental & Fast Food, Sunsets Bar & Grill, Tsunami Burger, Vidad’s Local Kine Grindz, Aloha Joy, Aloha Thai Fusion – Truck, Aloha Thai Fusion Restaurant, Just Put In, Kīhei Caffe, Maui Thai Bistro, Monsoon India, Piko Café, Roasted Chiles, That’s A Wrap and Wing Kings.

Founded in 2012, Bite Squad’s consumer app has live order tracking to keep customers updated on when their food will arrive and a live chat support team.
