Honoapiʻilani Highway Now OPEN Following Traffic Fatality

UPDATE: HONOAPIILANI HWY IS NOW OPEN as of 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019.
The road was closed earlier this evening following a fatal rollover traffic accident reported in Ukumehame at around 5:30 p.m. Police shut down the highway while they conducted an investigation at the scene.

Honoapiʻilani Highway is closed in both directions between Papalaua Wayside Park and Ukumehame firing range due to a fatal motor vehicle collision. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.
