Hawaiʻi Red Cross Volunteer Helps Alaska Fire Victims

A volunteer from the American Red Cross of Hawaiʻi is providing nursing aid to wildfire victims in Alaska.
There are several blazes burning in southcentral region of the state right now.
One of the larger fires has spread to more than 4,300 acres and destroyed at least 80 structures so far, according to a press release from the Hawaiʻi Red Cross.
Over 95 percent of Red Cross services are provided by volunteers.
