Central Maui Regional Sports Complex Reopen Today After Treatment of Tropical Fire Ants

The Central Maui Regional Sports Complex, Fields 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13, are scheduled to be reopened on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, following successful treatment for tropical fire ants at the complex.

Personnel from the County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation spent the past week actively treating affected areas.

To clarify, the tropical fire ants are different from the invasive Little Fire Ant, which have not been found in the complex.

The Department thanks the community for their understanding.
