KS Maui Ensemble to Perform at Baldwin Home Museum

The entertaining Kamehameha Schools Maui Hawaiian Ensemble is comprised of qualified students with talents in voice and dance who share their Hawaiian culture through mele, hula and oli. Courtesy photo.

The public is being invited to enjoy a free performance by the Kamehameha Schools Maui ensemble at the Baldwin Home Museum front lawn.

Students in the ensemble learn a repertoire of Hawaiian songs, hula, and old (chants). They have performed at various venues throughout the islands, as well as in Aotearoa and Tahiti.

This performance is a part of the museumʻs monthly Hawaiian Music Series.

Limited seating is provided and blankets, mats and low beach chairs are welcome.

The concert will be held on Nov. 21 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The museum is located at the corner of Front and Dickenson Streets in Lahaina.

A paid parking lot is located behind the venue with access from Dickenson Street. Parking fees from the lot will be used to maintain the many historic sites in Lahaina.
