Bonifacio Agoy Bartolome 72, of Kahului, Maui passed away on Jan. 31, 2020. He was born in the Philippines on Dec. 2, 1947 to the late Juan Bartolome and Sotera Agoy.
Bonifacio is survived by hi loving wife Visitacion Bartolome, His Children, Irene (Ferdinand) Daluson, Madeline (Derrick) Buck, Grandchildren; Mica Daluson, Deyna and Braden Buck Sisters;Julia (Isidro-deceased)Corpuz, Presentacion (Expedito) Castillo, Valariana (Vicente-deceased) Dela Cruz
Brother; Manuel(Clarita) Cartolome Brother In-law;Michael (Remedios) Prais.
He is predeased by brother and sister in-law; Mariano and Graciana Bartolome.

Leah Yumi Ann Teixeira, 48, of Hāli’imaile, Maui passed peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020. She was born on Feb. 17, 1971 in Wailuku, Maui.
She worked at Makawao Town Pharmacy and went above and beyond for all her customers.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 at Ballard Family Mortuary; service starts at 11:30 a.m. cremation to follow.
Leah is survived by her husband Jason Teixeira; sons, Justin (Jeanna) Teixeira, Joey Teixeira and Jay (Kalena Vaivai) Teixeira; daughter, Jaselyn (Joshua Ogata) Teixeira; parents, Don (Princess Kinores) Kawahara and Mae (Les Krenk) Salomon; brother, Jordon (Carey) Kawahara; sisters, Kami (Ross) Antolin and Doni (Buddy) Hema; grandchildren, Darin, Leimaia, Levi, Khloe-Joe & Rylee Quinn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Albert Orta, Sr., 79, of Haʻikū, Maui, passed away on Feb. 2, 2020. He was born on Dec. 1, 1940, in Pāʻia, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will begin at 11 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m., at Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery in Haʻikū.
Albert was an auto body repair technician at Auto Dynamics in Wailuku. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Harriet K. Orta; son, Albert Orta, Jr.; sister, Susie Tabaco; and brother, Larry Orta. He is survived by his children, Bernadine (John III) Demello, Ranee (Patrick) Orta, Germain (Everett) Orta, Rodney (Melissa) Orta; siblings, Raymond Orta Jr., Alfred Orta, Leroy Elizares, Veronica Reyes; 14 grandchildren, Kimberly, Chalsea-Marie, Christina, Ashlee, Chad “Kaimana”, Nahale, Kupono, Corey “Kahakea”, Melia, Nae’ola, Keahi, Melika, Helena, Isa-Lei; and 11 great grandchildren.
March 21, 1973 – February 2, 2020
Jeffrey Leroy Chambers, 47, of Naʻalehu, died Feb. 2, 2020 in Naʻalehu. He was born March 21, 1973 in Honolulu Hawaii. Jeffrey served our country in the Navy and was disabled.
He is survived by parents Cyndy and Keith Chambers of Captain Cook; sister Jennifer (Sean) Treglown of Snohomish, Washington; and two nephews, his caretaker Andrew
Dotterweich.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Feb. 24, 2020 at West Hawaiʻi Veteran’s Cemetery at 12 p.m.

Carol Yukiko Sakugawa, 84, of Kīhei, passed away on Feb. 5, 2020, at Hospice Maui Hale in Wailuku. She was born on Dec. 12, 1935 in Puʻunēnē, Maui.
Visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020 at Ballard Family Mortuary, service 11 a.m., burial 2 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park. The family requests Hawaiian Attire.
Carol worked at Maui High School as a Custodian until her retirement. She also worked part-time for Mainland News for 15 years.
She is survived by her children, Lynne F. Sakugawa, Jon I. Sakugawa, Lorelei A. Sakugawa, Daryl S. Sakugawa, Diane S. Siangco, Lisa H. Sakugawa, and Norine E. (Mike) Minor; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
