Special Weather Statement: Windy, Wet Conditions Friday Through Sunday

The National Weather Service has issued a Special Weather Statement for Maui County for the upcoming weekend.
The NWS says very windy and wet conditions are expected from Friday through Sunday.
Winds are expected to increase by Friday morning as a strong high pressure system builds in north of the Hawaiian Islands.
Very windy conditions are forecast along with numerous showers through Sunday.
