35 American Savings Bank Branches Remain Open
As a continued precaution for the safety and health of its customers and teammates, American Savings Bank is closing additional branches from Saturday, March 28 until further notice.
“Banking is an ‘essential activity’ and ASB remains committed to serving customers,” a company announcement advised.
In addition to ASB’s 35 branches that remain open, all ATMs are available 24/7. Customers are also encouraged to take advantage of the bank’s Online Banking and ASB Hawaiʻi Mobile App, which are available anytime from anywhere.
Hours at open branches have been modified. All open branches offer Kupuna Hour each day, Monday through Friday, during which the first hour is for seniors (ages 60 and older), and others most at risk, along with an accompanying caregiver or family member. Customers who visit a branch are asked to join ASB in practicing social distancing by staying six feet apart. Customers may be asked to wait outside to limit the amount of people in the branch.
ASB reports that it continues daily deep cleaning of all locations. In addition, many of its team members are working remotely from home. ASB will continue to provide updates to customers on its website and via email. For the latest updates from ASB on COVID-19, visit https://www.asbhawaii.com/covid-19.
