Azeka Shopping Center is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive now through Nov. 20 to support Maui Food Bank’s mission to end hunger on Maui.

Participating stores and restaurants will have bins inside to accept all canned and dry goods.

Locations include: ACE Hardware Kīhei, Azeka Management Office, Diamonds Ice Bar & Grill, Island Art Party, Fork & Salad and WowWow Hawaiian Lemonade.

With the economic challenges continuing in the community, about 27,000 Maui residents don’t know where their next meal is coming from, according to the Maui Food Bank.

Urgently-needed items include canned meats, canned fruits, canned vegetables, rice and pasta. Cash donations and gift cards also are accepted at the Azeka Management Office located at Azeka Makai.
