Public Notice of Roadwork Planned for Kahekili Highway, Nov. 4-5

GP Roadways and the County of Maui announce planned roadwork on the Kahekili Highway from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 4 and 5, 2021. 

Guardrails will be replaced on Kahekili Highway between miles 8 and 9, in the area of Makamakaole and Maluhia Estates.

The road will remain open, but motorists should expect delays of 15 to 30 minutes for alternating traffic control through a single lane.

Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route to avoid the area.
